Our Founder
Mr. Minh Tran has over 28 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience that includes progressive senior management level accountabilities in quality, process development, manufacturing and business strategies. He is a seasoned executive and a successful businessman with multiple current business ventures.
Mr Minh Tran was formally the chief operating officer at Stelis Biopharma which he joined in April 2018. He is responsible for the overall all day today potions in projects, manufacturing operations, automation, engineering, information technology and human resources including process development and scale up of pilot plant. He is actively transforming corporate cultures, building hyper forming teams and creating values for the drug substance and drug product CDMO business.
Prior to joining starless Biopharm, he was head of single use and multiple use bioprocessing and large investment projects for Asia-Pacific at Merck LifeScience. He served as the global technical and commercial leader of mobile processing systems and technologies. He managed multiple diverse dial processing technical and sales teams that successfully drove large investment projects from conceptual designs to implementation. He leveraged his hands on experience and expertise for customers consultation on manufacturing operations for upstream, downstream, scale up and manufacturing of drug substance and drug products fill finish.
Earlier on in his career, Mr Minh Tran also held various senior management and operational roles in process development, scale up and manufacturing at Amgen, ICOS Corporation, Zymogenetics (Novo Nordisk) and immunex Corporation. He contributed to the commercialization of biopharmaceuticals such as Enbrel and Vectibix. He holds a bachelor of science in microbiology from the University of Washington in Seattle, W.A. USA.
